May I start by saying…
DON’T READ THIS IF YOU WERE A WINNER AND ARE EXPECTING ONE IN THE POST AND WANT IT TO BE A SURPRISE!
So, it has been a long time coming, but here it is! This MJA is a little different to the last one. This time, ten boxes were sent out, with 4 going to people who entered and won the draw. These 4 went to varying areas of the USA. The remaining 6 winged their way to Manchester, London, Adelaide, Cardiff and Glasgow.
Parcel 2 included around 40 LEGO bricks of varying colours and shapes (we made sure that everyone had the same amount of each shape, for a fair fight!) and the instruction that we would very much like it, if the receiver could create something with the bricks and photograph it. The bestest one will receive a prize.
MJA #2 was addressed… For someone who likes to make stuff.
We hope that you have all had fun with it!
As always, please drop a comment on the blog/email us to say if this spread a little joy. We’d love that!

If you are reading this then you are most likely one of only ten lucky, lucky people around the world to receive the very first Mystery Joy Attack. Why have we sent you these fun rubber curiosities? No reason really, for you see the whole idea of this site is to send strangers gifts to brighten their day or perhaps just mystify them. We invite all “Attackees” to visit our humble blog and tell us what they thought. So if you did receive this MJA please comment on this post and let us know if it cheered you up or brought back long forgotten childhood trauma.
The first MJA was limited to 10 sets and sent out in the mail from the UK on 1st September 2009. They were sent to London, Manchester, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Berlin and Texas.

The contents of MJA#1. A squidgy face, a finger monster, an exclusive MJA ‘?’ pin badge and a calling card with our web address on it.

The wrapped package for MJA#1 (8x8cm).
